so apparently tropical storm funkilla has threatened sunny skies for saturday. but don't let that damper your pampers!

extremefest has officially moved indoors to the fireplace cafe in myerstown. new event start time is at 12:30. we'll be playing at 2:30 and leading worship at 7:30. check here and here for more info and directions as they are posted in the next 24 hours or so.

let's look at this with the cup half full: we're really rather good at not updating this band journal. give us a hand.

(it's fun cause it has little marshmallows in it). k, so everyone should go to purple door next weekend. it's not too late, unless you're reading this after the 19th. make sure to check out our local co-patriots the mint and last tuesday.

ah yes. band news. so we've had some really fun shows over the last three months, and unfortunately it looks like the warm season has come to an end for us after friday night's show in new holland. however, we shall see you all again at extremefest at the beginning of next month. have a happy.

the last time this band journal was updated, it was my birthday. i've been nineteen for a while now. perhaps my personal rise in longevity brought about a corporate downfall in productivity. or perhaps those are just a lot of big words.

regardless, we've had some shows since then. and some no-shows. like when our van broke down on the way to jonestown back in june in the pouring rain. it felt great to experience our first-ever break down. it's like one of those monumental moments you don't ever want to experience again. kinda like turning 50. except we don't have many wrinkles. but we are well on our way to losing our hearing.

so anyways, thanks to everyone who came out to our rescheduled jonestown show last weekend. hope to see some of you on saturday in laureldale. peace.
